Dating reality shows remain a smash hit for the Netflix streaming platform and Love is Blind is a great example, as the show has bene so wildly popular that a spinoff is already airing called Love is Blind UK.
The new UK series, hosted by Matt and Emma Willis, was released back in July and has been atop the Netflix featured list ever since, and while there is a variety of contestants on the show, there are two Irish contestants featured in the new series.
Conor Griffin (31), from south Dublin, owns a health food business called Roots (in Monkstown) and is described as “cheeky, flirtatious and down to earth” according to the show, and has been single for several years since the ending of his last relationship.
“After losing his mum three years ago, he [Conor] started his own health food business in her memory, determined to make her proud” according to Netflix. “Now he’s keen to start a family of his own.”
Sabrina Egerton (35), from Belfast, is also featured on the show.
“Unlucky in love Sabrina is hoping to meet the man of her dreams in the experiment” Netflix says of Egerton. “She hasn’t had much luck with men in her dating life which has led to her being hyper independent.
“Sabrina believes the pods will give her an opportunity to get deep with men from the get-go. She hopes to find someone who has worked through their own issues and wants to grow with her to be the best versions of themselves.”
